Publisher's Synopsis
The Beauty in Sinking Ships represents a cumulative collection of poetry written by Jerraldine (Jeri) Sylvia, spanning seven years, finally released into the abyss in July 2014. They are remnants and artifacts of several different lives I've experienced - bits of rock and coral, stone tools, and rudimentary scribbling's of language - creatures birthed in darkness, finally released from the torrential sea. Off they go, no longer swimming in the soup of hesitation. May your new sea legs serve you outside of this decaying shipwreck. May my fingers create many siblings to follow you on this journey.
