A series of gruesome murders terrifies the residents of a small town. The only people who saw what happened are children, and a group of third graders aren't exactly the most credible witnesses. Especially when what they saw was a werewolf. They grow up being shunned and bullied by their peers. And mistreated and ridiculed by the broader community.Years later the murders resume, but this time Thomas and his friends are prepared. After all, they have seen the blood it spilled firsthand. Hunting the beast down and killing it is the only way they can escape the horror and trauma they experienced.
As the body count rises tension mounts throughout the town. No one is above suspicion. Not even family members. Thomas and his friends cannot trust anyone, and must suspect everyone. As children, they learned the truth. As grown werewolf hunters they must use every bit of courage they have to face the monster.
The Beast: A Werewolf Horror is the first of three novelettes. The bloody gore, action, and intrigue continue in The Beast Returns and the series ends with The Beast's Revenge. The series can also be purchased in a boxed set that collects all three stories.
