Publisher's Synopsis
A family of black bears-a mother and her two cubs-lives in a valley on the outskirts of a forest in the Eastern Townships, Quebec. Quebec is blueberry country. This is well-known far and wide by two-legged and four-legged creatures.
As the story unfolds, we find the two little bears wide awake after a long season of hibernation. Winter is coming to a much-awaited end as the stirrings of spring begin to warm the air, and the great thaw begins. The two cubs wander out of their cave as their mama bear snores on.
A series of misadventures occur as the young ones explore their surroundings with excitement and awe.
As the exhausted young cubs return to their cave after their mischief, they are lured into a deep sleep by the warmth of the sun-as will your wee ones.
