Disconnect. Leave. Depart. Hundreds of years after those with the aura, a telepathic race called the Paix, were established by the Indigo children on what is left of Earth, Lisle, Subject 46, is born an empath, but without an Aura. With no way to communicate telepathically to her parents or the Ortus, she is sent at birth to live with others of her kind.The Auraless live on the outskirts of Paix society, but Lisle feels like there is something more that she is capable of. Connecting to the Paix becomes her ultimate goal, and Lisle works to develop her Aura until the murder of a fellow Auraless rips apart the balance between the two societies. Lisle must take a journey with a select group of Auraless that will test her abilities and her loyalties in order to save the Paix and themselves.
