Publisher's Synopsis

This is a work of fiction based in part upon the personal experience of the author, a former Colorado District Court Clerk. The Court handled all of the asbestos litigation filed in its jurisdiction and the author became acquainted with the plaintiffs' attorneys and their personal lives. The plaintiffs' attorneys became very wealthy from this litigation. These attorneys, the fictional husbands in the book, cheated on their wives with younger, female attorneys and paralegals, resulting in divorces. The divorced wives formed the group known as "The Asbestos Wives" and used their divorce settlement money to form a nonprofit company to provide aid to families of victims who became ill, and some who died, as a result of their exposure to asbestos.
