Devil's Walking Stick, (aralia Spinosa) - A small tree with stout prickly stems and compound leaves. Flowers creamy white in huge panicles followed by a wealth of dark purple berries. Branches often 3 to 4 ft. Long. Very effective when planted in shrub borders.
Elm American, (ulmus Americana) - One of the finest of our native trees. Of lofty growth and graceful drooping branches. At home wherever planted.
