Well, I declare l'm two honoured. Pompey, make your bow wow to the company. (dog barks.) O, the sweet crea ture, how was he taught to be so polite? Really, ma'am, l can't tell, but, as he is very sagacious. It strikes me he took it naturally. I was afraid, during his late temporary illness. His elegant roice might lose its tone, and so I sent to the Chemist's tor a pennyworth of bark. O, bless your heart! You are a kind mama! What, Miss Diggs, I hope you are well? Thank you, ma'am, but I couldn't come belo. E.
