Publisher's Synopsis
One the leading proponents of harmonic-style Anglo concertina for the past 60 years, Alan Day has also composed close to a hundred tunes in the traditional style. Out of the 65 or so tunes in this book, nearly 2/3 were written by Alan, and all are presented here with standard musical notation and easy-to-learn Anglo tablature.
Although Alan plays Jeffries concertinas in the keys of C/G and G/D, the tunes have been notated for the more common 30-button C/G Anglo with Wheatstone/Lachenal accidentals. Also included are QR code links to videos of Alan playing the tunes, plus a link to the 44 audio files of his 2004 Twenty Button Anglo Tutor.
