Publisher's Synopsis

This is the first book of two anthologies of poems that precede the Author's first publication "Songs For Susan." The Work shows the period from adolescence through to his eventual marriage. It charts the ups and downs of a teenager who eventually becomes a reasonably well adjusted young man, and the struggle to understand and accept his lot in life. The Angel's Clown (Volume One)" is the follow up to the Author's previous offerings "Songs For Susan" and "Only The Innocent Get Hurt In Love." The Anthology was written during the growing-up period of the Authors life. Some of the poems were originally set to music and were performed live by the folk group "Rhandu Rag" (Spirit of Spring) that the Author was once a member of.
