A genetically engineered bacteria offers great potential, as it biodegrades plastic rubbish buried in landfills, and floating on our oceans, into a fuel. However, events soon start to go not to plan, and the bacteria becomes a real threat to humanity, as it mutates and develops the ability to devour human flesh. To save the nation and the entire planet, as a deadly bacteria cloud moves across the United States, a brave group of scientists and soldiers make their last stand in a remote area of California.
