Subtle is no word.

I couldn't think of any until I hap pened to look at Rags. There was something of a yearning look in his eyes. Come on, I said. My hound has a lady friend in Paris and he'll probably go mad unless he sees her soon. Mad dogs are dangerous. The A. P. O. Sgt. Agreed thoroughly, and we started.
