Once upon a time two girls dreamed of what it would be like to cross the Great Bridge. Rainbow lives in Glory Town and has everything a young girl can ever hope and dream for. Her life is full of colors. She stands for something magnificent. She spends most of her time drawing pictures of her horse, JC Royal, a Lipizzan stallion. Once she finishes the paintings, she signs them "Rainbow" and ships them to Lack Land, a place less fortunate than her hometown. Hannah lives in Lack Land and is impoverished. Her life is full of darkness and insecurities. She is always curious about how life would be in Glory Town. She dreams of having braces, but her mother can't afford them. Maybe someone in Glory Town can help me, thinks Hannah. She is tired of being picked on by her brothers. Alex and Alexander, about the way she looks. One day Hannah's mom brings home a painting and gives it to her daughter. On the back is Rainbow's signature. Hannah sees a note that states, "Glory Town Easter Jubilee, April 24." Instantly she becomes excited about meeting Rainbow and learning about the jubilee. Should she travel to Glory Town, or is this a silly thought? She wonders. Keep reading to find out.
