Publisher's Synopsis
There are many things Joseph does not like: vegetables, when his favourite football team loses, going down the snakes on 'Snakes and Ladders' and going to bed early. But there is one thing Joseph hates most of all... change!
Transitions and change are a normal part of life, but for some people, change can be very unsettling and really really annoying! Joseph wakes up one morning, and everything seems to be mixed up. His cereal is wrong, the car will not start, and when he finally gets to school, Miss Meadows is not there. This short story offers some insight into autism from a child's perspective but also includes some very useful advice at the back for school staff and parents.
