CHRISTINE MARIE FRANCOEUR was born in Massachusetts and raised in Sarasota, Florida, where she currently resides with her parents. Miss Francoeur s inspiration for the illustrations of The Adventures of Jimmi Su is due to her appreciation for the Japanese art of Manga, an avid fan since the age of eleven. Miss Francoeur, an honor student, is currently attending high school and will graduate May 2009. Miss Francoeur wishes to return to New England to attend college and plans to study architecture. Miss Francoeur truly enjoyed writing and illustrating this book."
