Publisher's Synopsis
Eli and his group have been reunited with the fugitives and begin their efforts to take back the island. Although the encounter with Rebel did not go as Eli had originally planned, they continue to use every opportunity available to free the other citizens and reclaim what is rightfully theirs. The problems come when they have to evaluate their options for whom to attack, how to attack them, and when they can. Even with the arrival of friends to help, they still have to face the plight of deciding how to free everyone without risking their lives in the process. Meanwhile, the supposed allegiance that the enemy leaders had with each other appears to have been broken by some. Turmoil sets in for each of them as they try to figure out what has happened. Although some are convinced of the betrayal of other leaders, Cosmo Prime wonders if any of them truly understand what is happening. Who is truly to blame for the crumbling alliance? Is it truly one of them? Have they all been betrayed by Goetun? Or, is there another enemy lurking about on the island. As the plight of their allegiance continues, who will be able to survive?
