Publisher's Synopsis
Tethers...
The things that tie us to the world, that tie us to each other.
Our connections to our family, friends, communities, hobbies, and interests.
All the things we love and enjoy.
The things that give our lives meaning.
What if these were the only things tying us to the planet?
Would you hold on so tightly that you couldn't move?
Or could you let go?
Are the things you're holding onto, holding onto you?
This epic poem explores loss in a new way. With the loss of the things you love it is normal to slip into some depression symptoms, the loss often leads to more loss. This story explores what happens when you lose everything, what there is left to hold onto and what happens if you let that last tether go.
