FIRST EDITION (reprinted, Horncastle, 1812), rare: BL and Harvard only in ESTC. The Tetford Club was a convivial society of gentlemen, who met in the White Hart Inn in Tetford, Lincolnshire. Samuel Johnson was a visitor, and later Tennyson was a member of the Club. See Thomas Allen, History of the County of Lincoln, II, p. 179 for the attribution.
