In the middle of World War Two, a handful of Italian soldiers become marooned on a small island off the coast of Sicily. They discover a mysterious villa populated by a friendly doctor, beautiful women, and a few misfits. Little do they realize there is something worse than a war waiting for them in the nearby caves, something ancient and evil, able to kill in a thousand different ways.
