Dan, Sean, and Sarah were prepared to spend a normal rainy Saturday afternoon in Dan's room. But their day would be anything but ordinary, when Dan's new cat begins talking. Lead by the mysterious cat, they find themselves thrust through a portal into the magical world of Terratorva. Here Dan and his friends meet a peaceful group called the Rimoras whose very existence is being threatened by an evil race of dragon-like creatures called Extraxis. With danger lurking at every corner and the Extraxis fresh on their tail, the group sets off to find a unique crystal that could be the key to stopping the Extraxis and saving the world of Terratorva.
