The year is 2049. Climate change threatens the extensive reef system, endangering the emerging species of intelligent octopus known as The Nest. Terrifying storms wreak havoc and decimate coastal cities. Samantha and her team work to help the octopuses survive in the face of devastating damage to the reef from a hurricane.
Can the inter-species alliance survive when the octopuses discover humanity's role in climate change and environmental damage? Will the massive campaign to reverse climate change be enough for humanity's survival?
