Publisher's Synopsis

In a world that exterminates Christians and labels them as Deviants, small pockets of underground Believers fight to survive. One colony, called New Eden, thrives deep within the mountains of old West Virginia. The one world government, the Directorate, will stop at nothing to destroy them. However, the colony is not without protection. It is also headquarters to the Resistance. -A large group of highly trained Believers that have sworn to protect New Eden and its Believers to the end. Their current leader, William Thompson, is a brilliant tactician, but loathes the everyday responsibilities of governing the colony. Thompson knows there are better men at governing, and had believed he'd found his replacement in Marcus Stevens. Marcus, however, is haunted by the loss of his family and friends. He believes he caused their deaths when he assumed the identity of The Ghost. As the masked vigilante, he frustrates the Directorates attempts to capture him, and even evades them while being trained covertly at the Regulator Academy. But Captain Helm, Commander of the Academy's Secret Service branch, uncovers his false identity and sends assassins to capture him. In the process, his Uncle Jeff and Aunt Susan are killed. Because of his grief, Marcus leaves New Eden to help other Christians that are stranded outside the colony and under the oppression of the Directorate. However, neither Marcus Stevens nor the colony is alone. The Archangels know that the Dark Prince is scheming more than ever to claim dominion over the Earth. They also know that the Directorate is the Dark Prince's instrument for eradicating all the Believers of Christ. So, they decide to reveal themselves to New Eden in order to smelter an alliance to fight the Dark Prince and his legions. -Man and demon alike.
