Publisher's Synopsis
The year is 1717 and Dragonfly has just turned twenty. She has been living the last seven years a life of a pirate; accepted into the Great Pirate King's Clan. The Pirate King and Captain is a fierce man who may or may not be entirely human but she doesn't care. He is admirable as he is dark and full of magic.
She has this great life and pretending to be the cabin boy has saved her from living off the streets. But the more she ages the harder it is to conceal her femininity through baggy shirts and extra layers. If she had been born a man this wouldn't be a problem but pretending to be a man on a pirate ship is criminal and if she is caught it will be the gallows.
On top of these problems, she can't fight her annoying feelings she has for the Great Pirate King. Her emotions push her closer and closer to obtaining his heart but what will happen when their romance goes too far?
The last love of the Captain didn't turn out so well.
All Dragonfly wants is the simple life of piracy at her tropical island home and ship Telulahs Revenge. Now other feelings are ruining her existence. At least the Rum is never ending and she has friends as her life becomes a thrilling adventure of hiding from her true self.
Seems like everyone is hiding something on this ship or in the shadows. What will happen when the darkness comes to light? Will they get eaten by the giant sea monster that stalks them? Will she ever get to taste the Sun Dancer King's forbidden blood lips?
