The purpose of this manual is to provide the latest approved procedures for rigging the M1081, 2 1/2-ton truck, M1093, 5-ton truck, and M1094, 5-ton dump truck on the type V platform for low-velocity airdrop from C-130 and C-17 aircraft. This manual is written for use by all parachute riggers. This publication applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard (ARNG)/Army National Guard of the United States (ARNGUS), and the United States Army Reserve (USAR), U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC).
