To God be the Glory I am Helen Jefferson-Howard, the sister of Ruthie. We shared the same father but not the same mother. Although Ruthie was born in 1929 and I was born in 1945 we both grew up under hard times. We had much in common the fact being that Elizabeth died leaving Ruthie and her two sisters and Percy, our father died leaving Mary Belle to raise five children. I have been a resident of San Diego, California, since 1966. I am a retired Baker, Daycare Provider and now spend my time writing biographies of family members. To God Be the Glory
