Tea and Ginger Cake is a collection of poems about people, but sometimes the people are things. Some are funny, some are political or sceptical about man-made global warming (aka climate change, a perfectly natural phenomenon - or did the dinosaurs have factories and was Edward II swanning round in a Rolls when the bottom fell out of the climate in the early 14th century, putting the tin lid on his already unhappy reign?). Mostly they are examining personal histories and characters from a slightly odd angle. Enjoy them!
