Publisher's Synopsis
When you think about your grandfather, or any other older gentleman, do you sometimes wonder what stories he could tell? What are his recollections of WW II, of his growing-up years, of his experience in the service, a natural disaster, or of some other adventure he may have had during his lifetime? Do you sometimes wish that this man would share these memories and experiences by writing them down? This collection of Tales has been compiled with exactly that objective in mind. With an average age of seventy-eight years, the members of Northborough's Dull Men's Club wrote the stories contained in this collection with the idea of preserving and sharing them. The many authors of these tales come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, several have immigrated to the U.S. from other parts of the world. For most of us, this was our first experience in writing for publication.
