Publisher's Synopsis

This story actually takes place in Egypt in the early1900s and goes through the time of World War II, up to the twenty-first century. It shows the struggles and difficulties faced by three little brothers who became orphans at an early age. You will see how they were adopted by a poor uncle and how they survived sometimes miraculously. The story refers to the marvelous history of ancient Egypt, the turning of Egypt from idolatry to Christianity in the first century A.D., and the Muslim Arab entry and control of Egypt in the seventh century. You will also have a quick glimpse of the beliefs and struggles of the people living in Egypt. The author - who later comes to the Unite States and becomes an American citizen - is the youngest of the three orphans. He was born in the city of Alexandria, Egypt, and understandingly depicts lovingly the beautiful Alexandria beaches on the Mediterranean Sea. He takes you through the culture, background, events and emotions of his life. He shows how God blessed the three brothers and the family that adopted them, most of whom eventually immigrate to either the USA or Canada. Pathos as well as joy touched the lives of the three orphans. The goal of writing this story is to encourage the reader who struggles in this world to stand firm in his faith in an omnipotent, loving, compassionate heavenly Father, to never waiver and to never give up, but to be confident that there is glorious light at the end of the tunnel.Several interesting pictures are displayed, some of which were taken by the author himself while living in Egypt.
