Tadalafil, can be used to treat male impotence and the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), including painful urination, frequent urination, and an inability to develop or sustain an erection (Cialis). Tadalafil (Adcirca) can help people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) exercise more comfortably (PAH; high blood pressure in the vessels carrying blood to the lungs, causing shortness of breath, dizziness, and tiredness). Tadalafil belongs to a family of medications used to treat erectile dysfunction called PDE inhibitors. Erectile dysfunction can be alleviated by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual arousal. An increase in blood flow to the penis might lead to an erection. By relaxing pulmonary blood vessels, tadalafil improves blood flow to the lungs.
