Publisher's Synopsis
This is the third book of poetry, which I called 'The Trinity Mourns'. The theme of 'The Trinity Mourns' shares many poems that tell stories about injustice in this world, tests and trials, healing and pain, sin and forgiveness. This book is very close to my heart as it contains two very special poems called 'Let the Children Laugh, Let the Children Play' and 'In the Shadows of a Weeping Willow', which I devoted to all the missing First Nations children in Canada and Indigenous children across North America. Here is a little part of the poem 'In the Shadows of a Weeping Willow':
....From an angel's hand to the book of lifeAre the names I write and speak at night
When I pray for mercy and grace
And love so bright
In a heavenly kingdom of light. From the shadows of a weeping willow
And a totem-pole standing so tall,
Is the cries of a mourning lone warrior
Trying to make a call
To lost relatives in the four winds of time,
Where change is sublime,
With great names of a last curtain call
In the shadows of a weeping willow. I'm waving a white flag to you, God;
I surrender with orange shirts,
Orange hearts
And orange feathers everywhere;
I surrender mourning
Under the shadows of those weeping willows
With broken memories
Of our ancestors despair
In a 21st century genocide
Of maple leaf pride,
With 215 baby shoes sitting on the steps
Of a modern world that collides
With cries of the past
In the tears of angel eyes. With orange skies
And many orange parades,
And empty orange teepees,
Can you feel the rage
Of a broken country?
Please, turn the page! Every child matters
In an unmarked grave.
From 215 to 6509,
The count is growing so sublime,
I'm afraid.
But who's to blame for indigenous pain?... I wrote this book to inspire and encourage you with love, healing, mercy and grace to persevere through all the tests and trials of life. Some of my other favorite poems are 'Solomon's Ghetto', 'Face to Face with Christ', 'I surrender! I surrender! I surrender!', 'Seduction and Charms with Hidden Alarms. Trust in Christ! Trust in Christ! Trust in Christ!', 'The Old man is Coming Home', and many others. These poems are mini stories where people are placed in difficult situations, their lives are filled with anxiety, fears and spiritual battles, but God is there for everyone no matter how hard the circumstances are. God's heart aches for humanity to be saved and give people new life, which is possible only if you believe in Jesus Christ. There is a quote that I wrote years ago, which has been an anchor to my soul in my daily walk with God, my faith and trust in Him: We need to eat, live and breathe God's Holy Word
Like manna from heaven to strengthen our souls
With life giving waters of Love that makes us whole
From the Will of God Almighty's Holy Word. Because the Lord has shined His Light of Salvation upon me, I have been adopted as God's child (Ephesians 1:5) and I have been bought with a price, I belong to God (1Corinthians 6:19-20), and I have been established, anointed and sealed by God (2 Corinthians 1:21-22), but, most importantly, the good work that God has begun in me and you, will be perfected (Philippians 1:6). So, no matter how hard your tests and trials of life are, you can win the race to finish line!
Remember, all these poems and short stories are for you, my friend, you are not alone; I believe in you! Out of the Blue comes Blue. So, please enjoy 'The Trinity Mourns'. This book is a gift for you!
