Gaspard Ulliel was born on November 25th, 1984 in Billancourt, France.
Ulliel's passion for the arts was not hereditary they say - but you could be sure that where there is an artist, creative minds must abound in his family. Ulliel's parents were Serge, a famous Parisian designer who sought inspiration and motivation in everyday life. His mother, Christine thankfully was patient and understanding of her eccentric husband and supported him fully.
He had a small square cut on his left cheek that resembles a dimple. When he was six years old, the young boy tried to reach for the candy on top of a tall bookshelf but couldn't quite reach it. He spotted his family's dog standing nearby and figured that if he put a saddle on the dog, he could ride his way up to get to the candy. The plan did not go as smoothly as expected however, because while attempting to mount the doberman like a horse, he was attacked and sustained injuries around his hand. He jokingly joked that the scar, which resembles a dimple on his face, improves his emotional acting ability. In 2005, he began dating Cecile Cassel, a French actress. Until 2007, the two enjoyed a brief relationship. From February 2007 to February 2008, he was in a relationship with Monacan Charlotte Casiraghi. From 2008 until 2013, he dated Jordane Crantelle. He has been unmarried since 2013 and has no plans to marry.
