Publisher's Synopsis
Skylar, the main character, is the only female in her college physics program. She questions the concepts she is being taught in school and feels that the understanding of human consciousness, and our physical universe, is just one revolutionary idea away from being upended. An unusual set of goggles comes into Skylar's life that allow her and her best friend, Bohdi, to see what the other is thinking and feeling. Human consciousness just became directly viewable with this technology. But they are not the only ones who can tap into people's thoughts and emotions. A group has been using similar technology for a long time to influence what people think and feel to their advantage. But their manipulations do not work on everyone, specifically young people. Two engineers in this organization are working to find out why.If Skylar and Bohdi can avoid detection by this group, they can radically alter what we think of ourselves, our future, and our place in this universe.
