Publisher's Synopsis
This book partly proposes how we should live our lives in the 21st century CE and beyond, taking Evolutionary Biology into account, and partly compares the propositions made here with what some of the most historically significant religions, philosophies and ideologies have said about the same subject, to see if any of them have had similar propositions. It proposes three, simple, principles for living life, collectively called Svadharma. The first of these simple principles is do as you would be done by. Svadharma is a Sanskrit word which roughly translated means 'your own righteousness or duty'. Is Svadharma a religion, or atheism? No, because it makes no claim about the existence or non-existence of God. Is it a philosophy? Yes, but different to historical ones, because it is based partly on Evolutionary Biology, and partly on evidence based Dharmic traditions. Find out for yourself if Svadharma is right for you.
