Publisher's Synopsis

Suspect Everyone!

Gary Comenas' latest book is all about trust and suspicion, about 'good' and 'bad' and what happens when the line between the two becomes so blurred that there is no reason not to cross it.

Suspect Everyone! continues the exploits of the 'cop-with-a-habit' Blake Webster as he struggles to find his mother with the help of his transgender landlady who runs a welfare hotel for down-and-outs in Hell's Kitchen which becomes Blake's temporary home.

Comenas manages to get inside the heads, and souls, of the low-life criminals of New York in such a way that you can't help feeling sympathetic toward some of the seediest people you will probably ever meet; characters who are living on the wrong side of the tracks who never make it to the right side, and couldn't care less. Their only motivation in life is their desperate search for fun.

Although the story and characters are fiction, much of the background historical information is true - from Operation Sea Spray to MK Ultra in the U.S.A. and MI6 renaming itself SIS in the UK.

Suspect Everyone! starts out in with a gruesome cult-like murder in New York and ends up on a flight to London as it hurtles toward an enemy that threatens the world, and only you know how it ends up.

If you are looking for excitement, you have found it.
