A lot of psychologists will tell you about he books definition of PTSD, and how the book says it will affect you. This book explains it from a survivors point of view. Nothing about PTSD is the same for each and every person, and I am no doctor, so please don't read the book with that in mind. The aim, though, it to say that it is ok, you are safe, and that people go through it. Also if you know of someone who might need to be aware of the signs and symptoms, please get them to read it too
