The third is a tableau of his family, shining like angels in the indigo firmament.Tor is agonisingly close to bringing Ellaras fully under his sway, with the druids, the Geness nobility and the power of the elemental Luminari on his side, but rebel attacks have become a serious problem.Lars, the son of a trusted liege lord, is in his care and unbeknownst to him has discovered the secret location of his teenage heir, Rem. Lesandri, the girl who should have been his first child, is now allied in a union of the first leaf to the wealthy son of one of the treacherous anchors of the old regime and now seeks to come back into his life with a bold proposal. The Tessaraine mind beings have given them the means to travel to the magical world of Genesis on which Ellaras's old enemies now live and she seeks his blessing to explore it unhindered.Lars, fatefully, meets Lesandri and reveals Rem's whereabouts. The stage is then set for a wide-ranging conflict that will ultimately lead to the creation of a potentially universe shattering piece of technology, and through it the discovery of a remarkable yet very distant world.
