Publisher's Synopsis
Do you remember being on the swings when you were young and wanting to go higher and higher? Do you remember the courage it took to see just how high you could go? And then...did you jump? Did you take that leap and trust that the sand or the grass would offer you a soft place to land? Or perhaps you trusted that someone would catch you. That's why I picked the picture on the cover. I want to be brave enough to keep going higher and higher....and when I take the next leap, I want to trust that someone or something will be there to catch me. In order for me to get brave I need to get honest-and to get honest, I need to write stuff down; which is why I created this journal. This is a collection of quotes that have surrounded me for years. They have been cut from magazines, glued to vision boards, pinned on walls, taped into journals and recited many, many times. They have kept me going through difficult times and have inspired me to do better; to be better, which is why I call it the Superhero Notebook. I truly believe that journaling is transformative-it can literally make us different people. Kind of like Clark Kent and Superman or Diana Prince and Wonder Woman; same people, but better, stronger versions. I hope you connect with these words and have the courage to follow wherever they lead you...and then take the leap if one is required.
