Super Dino Heroes

Super Dino Heroes is about an eight year old triceratops with a family of superpowered dinosaurs. Adamdasaur, the hero of this story, does not initially have any powers. As the story progresses, however, his powers begin to emerge when circumstances make it necessary for him to join his family and save his nana from evil velociraptors. Throughout the story, he is instructed that simply having a superpower is not enough; he must have good habits in order to realize his full potential. These habits are as simple as making his bed and brushing his teeth. Simple habits, he is told, relate to training as a hero, because even great heroes get tired of the long hours it takes to hone their skills, just the same as children get tired of brushing their teeth. Working through daily chores build character and perseverance that are invaluable later in life, particulalry as a Super Dino Hero. These lessons are taught to Adamasaur as he and his family travel to Velociraptorland to challenge the leader of the velociraptors, Montasaur, and save his nana. Only when they reach the mountain where they are holding her captive, do his powers completely manifest themselves. During the final battle, Adamasaur discovers that his unique combination of superpowers enable him to be the only one capable of defeating Montasaur. I wrote this story for my eight year old son about six years ago. He loved it. Since it's been sitting on the 'shelf' for so many years now, I decided to share it with others. Perhaps your children will enjoy it as well.
