Publisher's Synopsis
Thomas Cady, in "Texas Maverick", returns to his home range following three years of fighting. His father is dead and the Cady Ranch is now owned by Curt Schofield. Tom rides out to ask Schofield for a job, but he is met with incredible brutality. Regaining consciousness, Tom is too weak to travel, and heads instead to see Doc McGuire. Without the hostility, Tom might have ridden on. Now he wants to fight back.
