These notes are designed to complement the pupil's anthology (0-333-54213-4) and give guidance on the many different ways poetry can be introduced and used in the classroom. The poems can be used as tools for the enrichment of language skills, as well as for literary study.;The anthology of poems is from Africa and other parts of the world. The book is designed for use in junior secondary schools and is accompanied by the set of teacher's notes. The text presents a wide variety of poems grouped into differing themes. Suggestions for discussion and various activities are provided at the beginning of each section of the anthology. One copy of the "Teacher's Notes" is provided free with every class set (40 copies) of "Sunburst".
