You never forget your first one. Carson and Doyle certainly can't shake that feeling even after fifty years. Its hard to move forward when you're dead. That doesn't mean that these vampires won't try. They find themselves trying to move forward by taking up street justice and dating. That's all well and good until The She Wolf comes back. If they can't survive Her return to their lives and the lives of everyone in Gaiman Heights things will turn bloody and fast.
