About the Publisher
Blackfriars started as a digital venture in 2013 and has gone from strength to strength, with our first physical book, The Girl in the Road, published early in 2014. The emphasis for Blackfriars is that of discovery, of nurturing new or long-forgotten talent and introducing readers to stunning new literature that they can't just keep to themselves. Blackfriars exists as a collaborate relationship between reader, writer and publisher, allowing readers to have an influence on the books that they would like to see being published.
