Publisher's Synopsis
A married couple wish to have their own child, but their wish is not granted. They eventually choose to foster. The family is enhanced with newborn twins which really shapes the couple into fully fledged parents, with the usual concerns and moments of happiness. A few years later another foster child joins the family. The newcomer has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and drags the foster family into the eye of an irrepressible storm. The foster careers are pushed to their limits and eventually face an impossible choice.
