The present paper reports a series of observations upon the capacities Of auditory localization in a person entirely deaf in one ear. In several of the experiments we have made parallel observations upon a person of normal hearing, and the cases are presented comparatively, in order to bring out as clearly as pos sible the peculiarities of monaural localization.
