BENNETT HALL was born into the world of Huntington's disease, a rare genetic illness that slowly deteriorates nerve cells in the brain over time. And in the midst of his mother's sudden onset of the disease, he is raised with the mission and the struggle of finding the light of life.
All the while, Bennett is charged with the task of living up to his father's impact, to the point that he wonders what hard work is truly worth. He must choose if living in his father's shadow will bring the most help to those around him, or if taking his own path will lead him closer to the life he desires to live. Better yet, what will help his mother's condition? As Bennett grows, the questions that fill his mind persist: What will the presence of a debilitating disease do to his family?
