Publisher's Synopsis
Documentary which takes a look at the retired supersonic transport Concorde. From its original inception through its ongoing development, the airliner required its engineers to continually push the boundaries of existing technologies in order to realise the standard to which Concorde aspired. A cooperative venture from Britain and France resulted in it taking to the skies for passenger service in 1976 and continuing to fly until 2003 when it was retired. Featured in the film are interviews with the original test pilots for the airliner, Brian Trubshaw and Andre Turcat.
