Publisher's Synopsis
With the return of their first adopted girl with her medical degree back to her home town and sisters a new era in the Stone-Smith family began, one of slowly taking over and improving the medical facilities in the city. Carol is pushed into nursing and eventually gets credited with the establishment of her own nursing school while around her the complexity of life in the family grows. Doctors are made and the antiquated old main medical center in the city gets a much needed makeover. "Tragedy to triumph" still is the theme running through the family as more girls are pulled out of their darkness and into the light of understanding love.
