in Florida, Poppy makes her first real friends while attending a very strange purple school run by the freaky Madame LaVender. But what happened to her grandfather? He went missing seven years ago, about the time other weird happenings began.
The race is on to find an ancient book of wishes her grandfather had. Maybe it will change her luck, until she makes a terrible discovery-its wishes don't turn out quite right.
