Publisher's Synopsis
I knew moving here was a waver. Darksville, Idaho. The name is a screw up. For what reason did we need to keep on moving to some unassuming area the mountains of no spot, past the desert of nothing, over the River of No Return? "Where is everyone?" I asked as we changed into town. Plans dependably showed in a little valley separated by epic shadows of mountains. "Conceivably they're resting?" Dad said, with his continually present smile. "In the day?" Every store was dull. Each sign said shut. Winds whipped through the roads, making a terrifying holler. "Perhaps they're all functioning the night shift additionally?" Dad kidded. Father needed to work the night shift at a corner store in Darksville. That is the clarification we moved here. Father was glad to land the position. He was experiencing trouble looking for a kind of work after he and mother split up. I was in all likelihood by and large as brilliant as a shark in a vegetable nursery. "Everyone can't be working the night shift," I murmured. Father giggled and we moved into the key help station around.
