Publisher's Synopsis

Captain Alexandrea Canatolli and her family, live aboard their self-contained airship, the Star Sapphire, in the 1890's, along the west coast of North and South America. As the airship leaves port, a member of the Historical Society stows away. Jareth quickly ingratiates himself with the crew while fending off a pirate attack. He guides them to his secret chain of islands, allowing them to make needed repairs to the ship. While at port, the tinkerer for the Star Sapphire, Tink, finishes her new contraption, the hydro-pod, an underwater exploration vehicle. Jareth convinces the crew to use the hydro-pod to find the lost Aztec city of Tenochtitlán, rumored to be filled with gold. With the assistance of old scrolls drawn by a Spanish Conquistador, not only is the city found, but also a hidden secret chamber below the temple. By using ingenious inventions they gain access to the hidden chamber. Inside, the explorers discover books, paintings, gold and lots of skeletons. Lexi and her crew live in a world where water covers most of the Earth's surface and dry ground is very hard to come by. Steam provides the main source of energy for most technology. Between dealing with secret societies, the occult, a super hot girlfriend and the sexy top acquistioner for the Historical Society, Lexi maintains control of her airship and the expedition to excavate Tenochtitlan, preserving the most important archeological find in the nineteenth century.
