Publisher's Synopsis
Following the mission of a Scottish squad to rid the country of a USA invasion having occurred after the War of Independence, this extremely violent adventure is modelled on a world where steam is the main power source and Britain has become a colony of the newly-formed United States. The violent Lt. Malcolm McLaine has little time to get rid of the invaders before the Scots unleash The Anvil on London, assuring Scotland's safety but at the cost of millions of lives. The Lt. assembles a squad that follows him through thick in thin against the Americans.
